- > - *The long awaited Gui Extension v1.70!*
-
- > - and the big one! the *Amos.library upgrade!*
-
- Great work!
- The GUI extension is worth the wait! Its amazing!
- I have to say that without people like you, I may well have abandoned
- amos by now, so keep it up! :)
-
- A few points and questions...
-
- Is the extension continuing with development? If so in what direction?
- Whereas it is now easy to make WB applications to run on any system
- with any screen mode, games is still not possible for anything other
- than AMOS own custom screens.
- The GUI Clone allows it in some ways (amazing command!) but without
- double buffering it isn't usuable for moving games.
- One temporary help would be to allow GUI clone to work with
- Logic(screen) or Physic(screen) so you could then create two
- gui screens along with a double buffered amos screen and clone the
- logic part to one GUI screen and the physic part to the other.
- You could then manually swap the two GUI screens around.
- Of course, the problem is that you use up twice the chip memory
- resevered just for screens but its not bad.
- Can't be that hard a command to add can it? :) .... please. :)
-
- Thanks,
- -Murray
